Weekend Courses

VLI invites the public to join VLI students for course work taught on weekends only. The following courses are currently planned for the 2012-2013 academic year. Please check the exact schedule with the VLI coordinator at your church. VLI weekend courses are open to students, church members, and the general public as allowed by your local pastor and site coordinator.

Weekend courses are included in VLI students cost and curriculum. The cost to attend weekend courses for non-VLI students is $50.

Columbus Ohio Weekend Course Schedule

All weekend courses at Vineyard Columbus take place on Saturday from 8:30-4:00 and Sunday from 2:00-7:00. Times are subject to change. Please contact 614-259-5417, or email the VLI Student Coordinator, to pre-register or request information about the weekend course. Most weekend courses are live, however some may be through DVD.

 

Spring 2013 Weekend Courses*:

The Writings Part A - Saturday, April 13th 8:30am-4pm  & Sunday, April 14th, 2-7pm - Taught by: Don Williams (Pre-recorded in 2011).  Major topics covered in the course are the Wisdom in Ancient Near East context; background, content, and theology of Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Ecclesiastes.

The Writings Part B - Saturday, May 18th 8:30am-4pm  & Sunday, May 19th, 2-7pm - Taught by: John Oswalt.  (Pre-recorded in 2011)  Major topics covered in the course are the background, content and theology of, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Daniel.

Outside Columbus VLI Site Weekend Course Schedule

Weekend courses vary from site to site in VLI.  Courses outside Columbus typically occur three weeks after the schedule in Columbus.  Please request to join the VLI class in your local church by contacting the local VLI site coordinator or VLI site pastor.  The $50 is payable to your church and can be given to the site coordinator. These weekend courses will not be taught live, rather they will be viewed through DVD.
