Paying for VLI

Financial informationVLI does not participate in US Department of Education “Title IV” funds typical of accredited educational institutions. Students who attend VLI pay using one of the following methods:

  • Self funded. Students pay their tuition when they register for courses. 
  • Family Support. Students request assistance from family members who share the financial burden of training.
  • Support from their local church. Students apply to their home church for full or partial reimbursement of tuition expenses.
  • Support from small group. Students share with their small group their call and financial need.

Tuition

A $50 non-refundable application fee is due with the application.
You will be directed to pay your application fee while filling out your application.

Tuition is due at time of registration.   Every quarter VLI provides a 20 hour course and two 10 hour courses.  The US course fee for 20 hour courses is $284 each, and the fee for 10 hour courses is $142 each.  Registration closes after the 7th day of the start of quarter.

Other Fees - Books are not included in the cost of tuition. Students must buy the books required for each class on their own from a bookstore or the web. These costs will vary from quarter to quarter though they usually run around $40-60/quarter. From time to time students may be charged for additional texts, readers, or personality tests that cannot be purchased on their own. These range typically from $25-70/quarter.

Re-enrollment Fee -There is no fee for re-enrolling to VLI.  If you were a student in VLI previously and wish to join us again, simply fill out our form at Re-enroll to VLI!

Discounts

Effective summer 2007, VLI does not offer student or site discounts. 

Refund Policy

  • If you withdraw from VLI within the first seven days of the quarter, you will receive a full refund of your tuition.  After seven days there is no refund.

Tuition and fees are subject to change without prior written notice at the discretion of Vineyard Leadership Institute.
